I made the courageous decision to quit my job, and I couldn’t have done it without the unwavering support of my husband and my therapist. Their presence throughout this transformative process has filled me with immense gratitude.
The transition happened so quickly that I haven’t even shed a tear yet. I now carry a much lighter burden on my shoulders, with significantly less stress and anxiety in my heart, and a wardrobe that is increasingly dominated by sweatpants. 🤣
I’ve also completed Walking Wednesday, a project that is my pride and joy. Writing a book has always been a dream of mine, especially when I found myself at a low point in life. Tackling this goal was a genuine challenge, but it forced me to rediscover my passion and joy. My Grandmother played a crucial role in this journey, always encouraging my writing and celebrating my successes. I wish she could read this story and understand how important she was to me. The characters in the story all mean the world to me shaping me in ways for the better.
Now that I’ve achieved this goal, I’m eager to continue and do more! I love writing and am excited to challenge myself once again. With countless ideas in mind, I’m ready and motivated to keep moving forward.
In addition to my writing journey, I’ve launched a blog called The Transforming Teacher. I hope to gain more traction and have the chance to work alongside educators, supporting them through the tough times the Early Childhood community is currently facing. More updates on this exciting venture will come soon.
Educators, I see you, I appreciate you, and you truly deserve the world. Your work makes a difference, and for that, I am grateful. Thank you for all that you do. 🩷
