Describe one positive change you have made in your life.

What a ride. The past few years have been quite the journey for myself. For those following, you probably know that I’ve had some rather big changes in my day to day life.

Throughout all the decisions, conversations, experiences and opportunities I’ve endured the most meaningful and beneficial change I’ve put into motion is “living for today.”

I am an anxious person. I am a people pleaser. I have ADHD. I am so fast paced. All of this mixed together with the world we live in has made life so hard. Life turned negative. My outlook was negative. I was depressed. I was not living for the experience or fully allowing myself to enjoy what was right in front of me. I focused on the negative and in turn felt the negative.

After lots of reflection and work I have started to intentionally live in the moment and it has changed my life for the better. I tend to not focus on the negative as much. I find joy in the experience.

I’ve spent the week in Sanibel Island Florida. Walking on the beach, searching for shells, dolphins and wildlife and living in the moment has never been easier. I hope the peace sunshine and happiness follow me back to Michigan and continue to support my day to day and soul.
