Being a teacher is hard. It is not someone who “plays all day” or “babysits” for a living. A teacher is someone who touches lives and hearts. Speaks the hard truths you need to hear. Someone who is behind you 100% of the time even if you were the biggest turd face ever the day before. Teachers are;

Vulnerable- willing to share the hard stories to relate. Speaks the truth even if they’re not the only one who believes it.

Honest- Gives the good the bad and the ugly because it’s what we need to grow. But knows to follow up the bad with and to push the good as much as possible.

Kind- Wants to listen and understand. Does and says the right things. Flexible to the needs and wants of their students.

Again, teaching is hard. It takes a beautiful kind hearted soul to be a teacher. Teachers deserve the world.
